Playing with someone's emotions is never a way to win their heart. It's not even a way to win their friendship. So honestly, either we talk about this, or you stop equivocating, or we sever ties altogether. Right now we're just tangoing around this issue, and we need to talk about it sometime soon. 

The worst part is, I feel myself slipping back into that mode of  responding to your ways, and that was what I told myself I would never do again. Like a moth to a flame, I am drawn in, and eventually I know I'm going to get burned.
