and you will be loved
Close your eyes and we can float away,
All alone through this crowded place.

This is a song that tells a story, a story about summer, about blazing heat melting away what is left of a cocoon. It’s a story about beds and silent thoughts, a reverie of imagined fantasies and longing thoughts. Nostalgia holds court here. Memories rule as joint rulers. It’s a story of whispers in the night, stolen glances, faded photographs, and blurred landscapes when one desperately wishes for the familiar safe sights. This, above all, is a story of a love that never got the chance to grow.
